About

When I was in my 7th grade, I understood math is actually the most easiest subject because it uses numbers and it is the only language with logic/common sense.

I did my undergrad at REVA University, Bangalore. I do have a story to why I did my undergrad at REVA.

After my undergrad, I spent a year at Dynapac in Bangalore, where I worked with the Dynapac Sweden team full time as a Software Engineer.

Now, I am in the US, pursuing my Master of Science in Data Science at Northeastern University, Boston Campus.

Stack I use a lot: Python, Go, React, TypeScript, Node.js, PyTorch, Spark, Azure, AWS, GCP.

Work

AI Research Assistant, DASH AI Lab, Northeastern University

January 2025 - Present · Boston, MA

I work on multiple products at DASH, which include DASH API and AVA. DASH API is a platform that uses SLURM and Open OnDemand to run AI models and workloads on 4x Blackwell GPUs. AVA is a stealth AI product currently being used by real users.

Machine Learning Co-op, AARP

June 2025 - December 2025 · Washington DC, USA

I worked on the model that targets premium digital offers to members, a gradient boosting model over roughly three thousand features built from membership history, demographics and engagement. The other half of the role was a monitoring framework in Databricks that tracks AUC, KS and lift for the 25 or so models AARP runs in production.

Data Engineer / Software Engineer, Dynapac (Fayat Group)

June 2023 - June 2024 · Bangalore, India

Dyn@Lyzer, Dynapac's telemetry product, working with the team in Sweden. I rebuilt the PostgreSQL schema behind it into a partitioned, normalized design, and wrote the ETL that ingests several hundred million telemetry records from over a thousand nodes on Azure Durable Functions. I also did the ARIMA forecasting on fuel efficiency data and the Tableau and Power BI dashboards on top.

What people say

I had the pleasure of working with Ajin during his internship at AARP, and he quickly distinguished himself as someone who learns fast, thinks critically, and delivers reliably. He took ownership of a technically demanding analytics project. He approached it with maturity well beyond an intern level, breaking down ambiguous problems, validating results carefully, and communicating his progress with clarity and professionalism.

Ekaagar Singh Hara, Data Scientist at AARP

Ajin quickly learned the business and built a Databricks-based model tracking system to monitor campaign ML model accuracy month by month, with an automated pipeline and clear visualizations. He proactively partnered with stakeholders to expand the scope and move this work into production, significantly reducing manual effort. Ajin is hardworking, flexible, and thoughtful in his approach.

Sharon Xu, Senior Director of Data Science at AARP

Ajin consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, an unrelenting curiosity for learning, and a desire to tackle complex problems with innovative solutions. Almost immediately after joining the team, it was evident that Ajin possessed a natural talent for software development as well as strong communication skills. His proficiency in Python quickly became an asset to our projects.

Taylor Sorgini, Team Leader Digitalization at Dynapac

I have had the pleasure to have Ajin on my team... I have seen an outstanding performance from a technical point of view, but from my perspective even more importantly a commitment to independently find, understand and deliver a solution.

Petr Hutar, System Engineer at Dynapac
